'Hengool' Theatre is the most colorful Assamese mobile theatre group of Assam, which was the first mobile theatre group from upper Assam. 'Hengool' is an Assamese word which means "Reddish in Colour".

Mobile theatre of Assam, popularly known as 'Bhraymaman' theatre in the state, which is going to enter 50 years of its existence in 2012. Mobile theatre is the most popular medium of entertainment in Assam.

Flower of Assam Kopou Phool picture




"Kopou Phool" (dove flower) which is also known as "foxtail orchid" (scientific name : Rhynchostylis Retusa) is a kind of orchid that grows widely across Assam, India and mostly blooms during Spring. Its worn by young women on their hair during the spring festival of Assam, Rongali Bihu.
