Tickets - Naseeruddin Shah's play at Bangalore and Chennai

Directed by Naseeruddin Shah, it is a series of three short stories by the famous Urdu writer Ismat Khanum Chughtai -- Mughal Bacche, Chhui Muee and Gharwali

Gharwali by Naseeruddin Shah
Naseeruddin Shah brings up the finale with his tongue-in-cheek, mischievous narration of 'Gharwali.' With ease he slips in and out of different characters. It is a half-hour of sheer delight watching the actor brings Ismat's pungent, ironic prose alive.

Mughal Bacche by Ratna Pathak Shah
Set in the period following the decline of the Mughals, the story talks about their so-called successors, the landed gentry of Uttar Pradesh. Unable to come to terms with the decline in their fortunes, the story makes a wry comment on the social setup while interweaving a love story. Ratna Pathak brings out the wry irony underlying the love story very effectively.

Chhui Muee by Heeba Shah
'Chhui Muee' told by Heeba Shah talks of an incident of childbirth witnessed by three upperclass women in a train compartment. Fascinated and deeply affected by the incident, the three women react in different ways.

Walking On Broken Das - Bangalore Tickets

Walking On Broken Das - Stand up Comedy - 18 yrs & above

Watch this observational comedian destroy everyone on today`s radar by traveling through a series of monologues that take theater to a whole new level if irreverence. Vir does this, with an army of theatrical characters. The show is not for the easily offended or even the mildly offended. We begin the show with a spiritual comic journey hosted by Mystro Ravi Darsaan. We then take a step towards the slightly bizarre and entirely British Lord Nassar Davis. The plot comes back to India with Shrimati Sara Samdhan, a sixty year old woman from Punjabi Bagh. The show then winds into a comic performance by the man himself. Vir Das comes out and does what he does best. As an encore enjoy a rock performance from rock legends Alien Chutney - Vir Das`s new rock band with their unique brand of comedy rock.

NOTE: STRICTLY BELOW 18 NOT ALLOWED
